Calling all Geeks in the Ville (Job openings)

I've got 2 immediate temporary openings (like I needed you to start a week ago) for Software testers in j-town. I need geeks who can quickly learn how a system works to go through defect reports written by other testers and reproduce them then by interviewing the developers and business analysts determine whether the defect is valid or working as designed and why it happened (is it defect in the code, a data issue, an issue with the wrong code being deployed, etc.)

Jobs start as soon as we can identify the candidates and get drug tests back on them and will run at least through early December with some possibility of going longer or even becoming full time. Pay rate would likely be somewhere between $20 - $30 an hour depending on your skills and experience.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone with explicit software testing experience, in fact a really good troubleshooting help desk or geek squad agent would be perfect, all you need to do is show me that you can learn and figure things out on your own.

If you or someone you know might be interested send resumes to rasilio at netscape dot com
